We are looking for an experienced and talented IT Change Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of all IT related changes for our products for multiple clients. Candidate should be experienced in handling change requests for multiple clients and ensure the standardized process is followed operationally.
The IT Change Coordinator will obtain a detailed understanding of the platform initiatives, its products and associated processes and tools to identify and implement improvements, standards, and best practices.
In addition, the IT Change Coordinator will work collaboratively with global IT teams, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical leads, clients, partners, and vendors to ensure the platform initiatives comply with the standardized change processes, regulatory requirements, standard operating practices of the company and industry standards.
Key accountabilities:
• Assess and evaluate proposed IT changes, including their
purpose, impact, risks, and benefits.
• Build and review change plans, manage the change implementer,
make sure that the change proceeds in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from multiple clients to define clear
objectives, requirements, and plans for each change.
• Work in multivendor environment to handle the change requests
for each customer and manage them end to end.
• Plan and coordinate the scheduling & execution of IT change
activities including change assessments, impact analyses,
implementation plans, stakeholder engagement and
communication plans.
• Coordinates activities of Change Advisory Board (CAB) and
Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB)
• Determine and agree on user requirement/schedule for downtime
for change implementation.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals of change requests
and implementation plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies and
plans to minimize potential negative impacts of changes,
including testing and deployment plans and post-implementation
reviews.
• Manage and prioritize change requests based on business needs
and available resources.
• Monitor and report on the progress, effectiveness, and
compliance of change management activities.
• Efficiently overseeing the flow of changes, in ensuring they are
executed effectively and align with organizational goals.
• Provide coaching and training to stakeholders at all levels.
• Define KPIs and generate reports to customers and stakeholders.
• Identify areas for continuous improvements and recommend and
implement enhancements to scale our change management
processes and practices.
• Support / lead the development of a change management
function on the platform and ensure that best practices are
adopted and continuously enforced.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology,
or a related field or equivalent role.
• Proven extensive experience as an IT Change Coordinator within
a complex regulated and multi-national IT environment.
• Work experience in managing multiple clients and handling their
change requests.
• Hands on experience in ServiceNow tool for change module.
• Strong understanding of change management principles,
methodologies, and tools.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure
Library) frameworks and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the
ability to manage many priorities, changes, and deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to build relationships and influence stakeholders at various
levels.
• Good understanding and work experience within other ITIL
processes like Incident and Problem Management.
Desirable
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Change
Management Practitioner, or Project Management Professional
(PMP).
• Experience in validation requirements of computerized systems
in a regulated environment, preferably the pharmaceutical
industry, including familiarity with documentation of regulatory
requirements (GxP, Privacy and Risk Management etc.) for
computerized systems and infrastructure including software as a
medical device (SaMD).
• Good understanding of the IT landscape, systems and technology
implemented for end users within a business context.
