The assignment is to manage 3 project in parallell with different end-dates. The projects objective of the projects are:   1. Product Configurator (50% - 4 Mth) The project will provide a product configuration to capture what cutting equipment that (1) fits and (2) is compliant on a specific market. This information will be used in direct communication to end users regarding fitup possibilities, recommendations and applications, as well as being integrated in internal configuration tools and other innovative sales programs. The information is also a requisite for ‘Late configuration on chainsaws’ that will improve operational efficiencies (reduced complexity in factories) as well as an improved chainsaw offering (customer demand solutions at late point)   The PL needs to drive the design phase (As-Is > To-Be), thus planning, coordination and responsible to drive workshops etc. according to set project/activity plans. After Design phase the PL will be responsible to drive implementation/execution of defined scope from the To-Be vs. approved investment. Most likely we will not be able to do all in 2021, thus some scope will be pushed 2022 on onwards. PL will also report to Steco concerning progress etc.   2. DIAS Gen 2 (30% - 2 Mth) The project will capture opportunities given from DIAS Gen 1 Program, thus improve quality of spare part search (EPC & xEPC). It will also adjust and enhance the foundation for traceability, configuration control and part list handling in SmarTeam(PDM system). To support the digital services with error codes for products a management system is required. This project will address this need. A variety of formats of serial numbers is today creating challenges in data quality in i.e. Product Registration and Web Warranty. This project will investigate and implementation of the HID-standard S/N format. The PL needs to work in close co-operation with the product owner for DIAS to coordinate and drive identfied activites. PL will also report to product owner concerning progress etc.   3. Service Plans (20% - 4 Mth) Service Plans for products is an integral part of our service offering i.e. Extended Warranty, Operational Lease etc. It is also an important information to our customers through our clients Digital Services. Today the Service Plans are created in Excel sheets, incorporated in documents and then extracted therefrom for consumption in Digital Services. This projects aims to create a common tool for managing and consuming Service Plans in a structured way. Role and responsibilities description Project Management: Lead and formulate pre-study analysis performed in GIS template, similar to a Project Charter. Responsible for formulating a plan to meet the objectives of the project while adhering to an approved budget and timeline. Formulate the scope of the project, resources necessary to complete it, anticipated time and financial requirements, strategy for communication among relevant stakeholders, plan for execution and documentation, and proposal for follow-up and maintenance. Assemble and lead the project team. Assign tasks, set deadlines, follow up regularly with the members. Responsible for resolving time & scope deviations, and communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the project gets back on track. Actively work with risk management and contingency planning to continue moving forward even when roadblocks occur. Form a budget and stay close to it as possible. Responsible for following up time reporting and cost, moderating the spend and keep the Project Steering Group informed and seek help when required.  Manage dependencies with other projects and initiatives. Collaborate with different delivery and competence centers in a multi-supplier and multi-culture environment. Participate in and supervise successful execution and implementation of defined deliveries. Ensure frequent and open communication with the project team members and stakeholders. Adhere to company GIS processes and reporting tools. Make sure that all mandatory documents are approved and signed off on, and that these documents are archived for future reference. ;   Change Management: Define and drive Change Impact Analysis within organization. Responsible to define appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize business impact. Support the organization in developing and executing the Change Management plans to drive adoption and deliver measurable business value.   Business Analysis: Validating and Verifying Requirements – Making sure that the requirements map to the business need being addressed, they are approved by all the appropriate stakeholders and that they meet with relevant quality standards. Analyze Requirements – Organizing, specifying and modelling the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous. Specifying Requirements – Ensuring that the documentation of the requirements is in a layout and format that can be easily shared with and understood by stakeholders. Test Management: Responsible for defining the test strategy and developing test plan of all test related tasks. Responsible for coordinating and managing all testing activities during every test stage such as prepare, execute, UAT to obtain acceptance sign-off etc.   Required skills or techniques  Desired IT functional skills: System integration; IT architecture; Data & Information management.
