The Squad Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership for development of our backend. This is a hands-on and strategic role which works closely with product, design, engineering and regulatory to design, build and launch patient centric digital experiences.  Squad Leads work primarily on the current release (Integration) but support Exploration and Deployment activities as well. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, testers, design and business analyst Leading the delivery of software solutions aligned to regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, SaMD), product roadmaps and goals Ensure collaboration between several other engineering teams. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they are met with the software solution. Act as tech lead in the team. Hands-on contribution to software design and code. Run agile ceremonies. Essential for the role 8+ years hands-on experience as a software engineer In-depth knowledge of building software frontend solutions and platforms Confirmed experience of leading people Significant experience of using Agile approaches Experience in designing and building modern cloud native backend applications. Desirable Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Cucumber, Regulatory knowledge, i.e GxP, SaMD
