This is a system expert role which will working with technologies such as Python, Shell Scripting, RedHat Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Jenkins • The scope is customers in production and also SaaS projects • This person will join a team of like-minded system experts in a leading edge expanding software company. The team consists of Technical Support Specialists (internally referred to as Service Managers), System Experts and Service Account Managers handling multiple customers globally.  • Basic requirements for the role • 6+ years in software development or advanced technical support role • Expert knowledge of Unix and/or Linux • Expert knowledge with shell scripting • Expert knowledge in Python language • Good knowledge in version control systems such as Git and Mercurial • Fluency in English language • Preferred Requirements • 8+ years in software development or advanced technical support role • Experience with Crew products  • Strong programming skills (Java an advantage) • Strong technical & analytical aptitude • Messaging systems such as Activemq  As this is an IT project role, please kindly share additional information on:  • Information about project        Here are a list of activities that the role may include • Participate in operation’s part of implementation projects that will be focused on the SaaS offering including AWS  • Become an authority on several production system installations in terms of managing the technical aspects of the applications. • Provide advanced technical support for day of operation flight and crew tracking and related products, in relation to the Service Level Agreement(s) • Assist the client with knowledge injections, proactive problem solving and daily management of the production installation • Maintain Linux installations on company servers and make recommendations to clients on patches/upgrades • Work with System requirements with internal and external stakeholders • Information about product It is about the Crew Tracking and OpsControl applications from Boeing that are used to track the crew products of the airlines. • Technologies used Python, Shell Scripting, RedHat Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Jenkins  Work type • Work type: hybrid two times a week (Tuesday, Thursday) This is at discretion and could potentially change in the future.
