As a Senior Application Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in securing our software applications against cyber threats. You will collaborate with development teams to integrate robust security measures, conduct thorough security assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Overview of responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of security protocols for software applications. Perform detailed security assessments, including vulnerability testing and penetration testing. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. • Conduct security training and awareness programs for engineering teams. • Stay updated with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies. • Respond to security incidents and provide guidance on remediation. Required skills & experience • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security engineering or a similar role. • Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls). • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security frameworks (e.g.,OWASP, NIST). • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nessus, Qualys). • Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP Desired skills & experience • Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS). • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Language: Fluent English
