We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our Product Delivery Excellence team and cross functionally work in the core Study Life Cycle Tooling (Study LC Tooling) engineering tribe. In the Product Delivery Excellence team, you are one of several Delivery managers working in the different products. The team together work on standardization between the products, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the Study LC Tooling is aligned to our products. You follow up on metrics and ensure governance and execution of the Study LC Tooling within the product portfolio. The Study LC Tooling tribe is responsible for developing customer delivering tools that is an integrational part of getting our solutions into the hands of customers and users. It consists of ~ 50 engineers and operates in a global environment, adhering to DevOps and Agile principles, and following GCP quality standards. Overview of responsibilities The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the entire delivery process across the teams within the tribe, from planning through execution, to ensure efficient collaboration and high-quality outcomes. Additionally, they manage dependencies with other tribes, fostering effective communication and collaboration. This role involves close coordination with the tribe lead, solution architect, technical product owner, and other tribes within the organization. The work includes both hands-on delivery and supporting the teams to achieve success. The ideal candidate has extensive experience of driving global IT development projects following quality standards as GxP. Key accountabilities include: • Drive standardization of processes and ways of working between products, ensuring the alignment of the Study LC Tooling. • Establish and follow up on metrics as part of the governance of products through Product Delivery Excellence team. • Manage and coordinate the work within the engineering teams in Study LC Tooling from planning through execution. • Define and drive improvement initiatives to simplify processes, ways of working and outcome. • Responsibility, in collaboration with quality manager, for ensuring the delivery adheres to the quality frameworks. • Build and manage effective relationships with senior business stakeholders and liaise with the wider organization to communicate status, escalate issues, manage risks, and coordinate dependencies. • Report on overall progress and status and manage RAID logs. Required skills & experience • Technical Degree and significant proven relevant experience as a senior IT delivery manager in a complex regulated multi-national environment. • Strong experience working in a global organization as well as managing and leading global, geographically dispersed project teams and stakeholders. • Demonstrated experience in delivering regulated solutions, such as GxP. • Excellent communication skills and track record in building strong and credible relationships with key senior partners. • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (SAFe & Scrum) and pragmatic approach on how to adapt the process and ways-of-working. • Hands-on experience of project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Desired skills & experience • Proven experience within healthcare or Pharma. • Software engineering skills, typically a background as a software engineer. Language: Fluent English
