We are looking to further expand the core configuration team within Unify and are looking for engaged people who fit the description below. The role we are searching for is a combined tech/config and planning/coordinating role. You would be coordinating the different tasks that the core config team needs to deliver and be the SPOC for the team which would mean a lot of communication with different stakeholders and teams (such as dev teams, test teams etc). This role is estimated to be around 50%. The other part would be to contribute technically within the team in forms of delivering configurations and be part of the core teams activities such as deployments and environment setups etc. This role would then be the other 50% Overview of responsibilities Configuration Engineer Objectives: • Implement configurations of Unify and its constituents’ components according to business requirements • Maintain effective documentation of configurations to ensure testability and traceability of the requirements and version control • Work closely with Configuration Manager to plan for and manage the process for upcoming software releases of Unify • Plan for and support the setup and maintenance of environments for Unify • Manage and administer deployments to environments and production • Handle and/or be part of change requests and defect management process • Basic technical knowledge, GIT version control, Json/TS files for config, scripting to apply config, familiar with Jira Configuration coordination objectives • Plan and follow up on the daily and weekly work for the core config team • Act as a filter for the team and respond to stakeholders and clients with estimations and suggestions • Maintain a prioritized backlog Required skills & experience. • Experience working with GIT or similar version handling tool • Experience from project management • Technical background with experience from software development Location: Remote or hybrid Language: Fluent English
