The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for validation and testing activities related to the mobile app used for clinical studies, a clinical trial solution co-designed by patients, healthcare professionals to streamline the trial experience and digitize clinical trials.
The Mobile Tester will be responsible for testing mobile applications across various platforms,
including iOS and Android. The mobile tester is working closely with the Core development team and
the BA team, the Quality Assurance Analyst analyses the mobile scope and its impact on new
studies, defines upgrade test coverage, and ensures the overall quality of the application based on
the product requirements. The person will identify, document, and track defects, as well as ensure
that applications meet high standards of usability and functionality. Effective communication and cultural sensitivity are key, as the role requires interactive
collaboration. We’re looking for someone with a strong passion for mobile testing and a willingness to
learn new technologies.
Overview of responsibilities The Quality Assurance Analyst – Mobile Testing as part of the New Studies Onboarding team is
expected to perform at an Advanced level in the following:
• Collaborate with product development teams and BA team - Work closely with product
development teams, business analysts (BA), and software quality engineers to support the
validation of mobile and medical devices for new medical trials as well as existing live trials.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans for mobile application testing - Design,
develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile application testing. Analyse the
scope of new onboarded studies, including the types of mobile phones and medical devices
involved, and the locations where the study will be conducted. Create test plans that ensure
product quality and reliability, focusing on the proper operation of medical devices across
various locations.
• Device Compatibility: Validate the compatibility of mobile devices and report any potential
issues to the Product team. Ensure that mobile applications function correctly on all intended devices.
• Defect Management – Identify and document any defects encountered during testing, be
part of the triage process, and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Documentation - Document test results, including any defects found and their resolutions, as
well as any changes made to the system configuration.
• Process improvement - Provide feedback on the testing process and suggest improvements
to streamline new studies onboarding test activities for future studies.
By refining and expanding upon these responsibilities, the role will encompass the necessary tasks to
ensure the quality and reliability of mobile and medical devices in medical trials, while also fostering
continuous improvement in testing processes.

analyses and impact assessment
on the new studies devices in scope.
3. Study Onboarding PM Team – collaborate with the PM team
on planning and defect
prioritization and new studies dependencies.
4. SMEs – engineering teams on case analysis and resolution.
5. Product owners and business analysts, to understand existing functionalities.
Required skills & experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in mobile application or SDK testing,
demonstrating a strong
understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
• Mobile proficiency: Hands-on experience with mobile devices,
emulators, and simulators.
• Experience with Medical Devices
• Web service testing experience: Proficiency in testing RESTful
APIs and understanding of API tools (e.g. Postman)
• Solid understanding of quality assurance theory, terminology, and
strategies
• Experience with cloud test tools (e.g. Browser Stack)
• Knowledge of mobile hardware and software platforms
• Experience in working with HTTP Proxy Tool
• Experience with Test management System as XRay
• Experience with Integration Testing
• Initiative-taking attitude towards learning and problem solving,
excellent communication skills,
demonstrated ability to work with both technical and
non-technical individuals.
• Excellent Task management skills and task prioritization

• Experience from Healthcare and Life Sciences, preferably with
clinical trials.

Education/Experience:
• Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in quality
assurance practice
