The Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for development of automation test strategies and test framework, as well as creating and configuring test frameworks and executing automated tests for product upgrades and the support of clinical studies. You work closely with the QA team for planning and execute automated test suites on a continual basis using Selenium/Appium. You manage automation-related defects, including identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution. In the role includes document automation processes, frameworks, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency across projects. You will proactively identify improvements and enhancements, Continual improvement of the Automation framework. The position is within a large product containing a web portal, mobile apps, medical devices integrations, content management system, app configurations and many more integrations. Required skills & experience. • Ability to code in Java and an understanding of Object-Oriented design principles • Testing methods such as Cucumber BDD, Appium, Selenium etc • Jira, Confluence • Strong understanding of various testing automation principles, concepts, approaches and methods • Proactive attitude towards learning and problem solving, excellent communication skills • Self-starter, highly motivated and loves embracing challenges Desired skills & experience • Cross platform Mobile app and/or Web testing • API testing experience • BrowserStack working knowledge and experience • Experience working in a globally distributed team • Practical experience of Unix/Linux • Understanding of Web Services, Azure and/or Amazon AWS • CI/CD, Jenkins Education/Experience • Degree educated or relevant working experience • 5 years of experience in Test Automation Location: Gothenburg, onsite 3 days a week
