Job description You will be working in one of the teams in the software engineering department building solutions for archiving data from our customers studies. You will contribute in building a new platform but also work with some maintenance for the existing solution as long as it is in use. Every PI-planning starts with a collaboration in the team where you explore new features to understand the requirements. You are responsible for development of automation test strategies and test framework, as well as creating and configuring test frameworks and executing automated tests for product upgrades and the support of clinical studies. You work closely with the development team, QAs and BA for planning and execute automated test suites on a continual basis using Cucumber. You manage automation-related defects, including identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution. About the Team The team consists of 4 developers, 1 Business analyst, 1 QA and 1 squad lead who leads the team in the daily decision making. You work in your team but also closely with several other teams (and automation testers) and everyone contributes to developing a new platform within clinical studies. Overview of responsibilities In this role you will be contributing to developing automated test strategies and test frameworks, as well as creating and configuring test frameworks and executing automated tests. • Create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Cucumber • Perform exploratory testing • Support and maintain the Boost test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features or bug fixes • Plan and execute automation tests on a continual basis • Proactively identify improvements and enhancements • Continual improvement of the Automation framework Required skills • Ability to code in Java and an understanding of Object-Oriented design principles • Testing methods such as Cucumber BDD • MongoDB • Git • Jira, Confluence • Strong understanding of various testing automation principles, concepts and methods • Proactive attitude towards learning and problem solving, excellent communication skills • Self-starter, highly motivated and loves embracing challenges • Well structured and thorough Desired skills & experience • Azure piplines • Knowledge of Springboot webflux • Kubernetes • Bash/python • SAFE Education/Experience • Degree educated or relevant working experience • 7 years of experience in Test Automation Location: Gothenburg, 3 days at the office
