The team is responsible of designing and implementing the development platform which is a distributed system involving multi-computer communication, system configuration and software deployment, sensor and vehicle communication, continuous integration and system testing, visualization and many more things, all of this with real vehicles and hardware in the loop. Together with the team and Product Owner you will decide what functions to prioritize to continuously evolve the platform. The team has a very innovative culture and you will have the possibility to gain a broad system knowledge within products while supporting teams implementing proof-of-concept features which later might end up on the market. You will also work close together with teams designing hardware for test vehicles and teams rebuilding the vehicles. Tasks You will have the opportunity for growth and feel confident to execute tasks within most of the following areas: Python Linux and drivers C++ Docker System/integration tests General software architecture design Qualifications We expect you to have relevant master’s degree and a few years of experience within the field, or you are a highly dedicated and skilled software developer. Programming experience in C++ and Python Software development within Linux environment (drivers, open source tools, compiling software, cmake) Familiarity with software development concepts (version control, code review, continuous integration) Experience in writing interface software or using manufacturer API to develop software Very good in teamwork and loves to share and involve others in finding the right solution Self-motivated, enthusiastic and wants to understand and create the broader picture
