Expertise and experience in MS SQL Server 2014 – 2019 OR Expertise in scripting and automation with the help of Powershell and other related scripting languages. Great to have good knowledge and experience in Windows Server, Windows Cluster, IT Infrastructure overall as well as Azure services. This role is focused on developing and maintaining the Database platform based mainly on MS SQL Server.  You will be working in a dynamic team of DBAs who’s mission it is to provide a secure, reliable, and cost-optimized DB platform globally. You will be focusing on MSSQL platform optimization through maintenance and development of the tools used for platform configuration, compliance, and inventory. You will also provide SQL expertise for different parts of the IT landscape of the company, providing knowledge and hands-on support to Solution Owners, Application Developers, and other IT colleagues. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that supports both internal and external projects and teams with modern infrastructure expertise. Your engagement will be in DB Platform management in a highly people focused work environment. You will be part of an international team and will work with colleagues and customers around the world.   What You Will Do Drive and execute SQL platform optimization, automation, and improvement activities Maintenance and development of installation and configuration scripts Maintain our in-house developed SQL Web-tool used for inventory, compliance, etc. Be part of 3rd line support including troubleshooting and problem solving   Who You Are You’re a person who always strive to learn new things and develop your skills and competencies. Required Education and Experience: Higher education within a relevant field or equivalent work experience Expertise and experience in MS SQL Server 2014 - 2019 Expertise in Powershell and T-SQL Good knowledge and experience in Windows Server, Windows Cluster, and IT Infrastructure overall Good knowledge and experience of administering large SQL estates Good knowledge and experience of Azure SQL services   Meriting skills Container technologies Php, java, json programming MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL Virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V etc.) Linux   Key competencies & Personal capabilities We appreciate the right attitude, mind-set as well as ability to collaborate in an international environment within cross-functional teams.
