General information This RFQ concerns a team of 2 FTEs (Full Time Equivalent) that will be part of working groups responsible for defining, implementing, and releasing the process and training of the processes within documentation management and configuration management. The work is planned to be performed during Q2-Q4 2022. Priority of work tasks are set by the individual process manager or process lead in dialog with working group. 2.1. Documentation management process The task will be, as part of a working group, to contribute to defining how process and product documentation should be managed in the future as well as being part of implementing the process, instructions, guidelines, training material, templates and support the release of the new way of working. There is today a process that needs to be reviewed and updated and released in steps. The goal is to release updates of the process at least every sixth week. Expected deliverables: Process description, instructions, templates, and training material. Configuration management 2.2.1. Background The current competence and experience reg Configuration Management(CM) are limited within in general and specifically within the Team that are responsible to lead the Process work. There is also a high focus on our core product development, meaning that potential resources that could be feasible to support, are not able to. 2.2.2. Expected support The team would need a resource that could guide them in several potential situations, that could be: a) Clarifying the a. logic behind a general CM Process. b. key components when defining a CM Process. c. definitions, “Whats what” within CM. b) Support as a “Soundboard” and Subject matter expert to dissolve roadblock situations The resource does not need to act as a Lead/PM or Facilitator for the Team 3. Expected profile 3.1. Documentation management There is a need of a configuration manager with experience from defining and implementing a document management process for software and tech companies. The person should preferably have experience from several different companies with similar work and have a good view of what is best practice / proven ways of working within documentation management. The bought service member should have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to drive/push for results in a structured and transparent way. Involving and aligning with others is key as well as being pragmatic and flexible. The member must be able to work at the office when so required during normal office hours. 3.2. Configuration management The chosen resource needs to: a) in at least two occasions, been part of the development of a CM Process within a technology company and therefore have a clear view of “best practice”. b) have at least basic knowledge of Software development & System engineering c) be able to work at the office when so required during normal office hours. d) excellent communication and collaboration skills.
